The course teaches the fundamentals of electroacoustics, communication transducers, and handset & speakerphone acoustical design and technology, including leak-insensitive receivers, noise-canceling microphones, bass-reflex enclosures, and echo reduction techniques. It also covers simulation principles, testing concepts and standards, and design for cellular and VoIP products. After the formal 9.5 hours of lecture, the afternoon of Day 2 is typically reserved for application discussions, project meetings, and/or general product consulting, as you desire.
In addition to our acoustics course, MWM compliments its telephone compliance testing service with customer training and education. Training focuses on VoIP/PSTN transmission requirements and test methodology standards. The customers are educated on relevant IEEE, ITU, and TIA industry standards. Furthermore, we can conduct hands-on measurement training utilizing our acoustic testing facility, including anechoic chamber.
