Chris Welsh, Principal
Chris is a Co-founder and Principal of MWM Acoustics. Formerly a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories, he has a strong technical background in acoustical design and product development for voice-based communications devices. Since the founding of MWM Acoustics, he has focused on business development activities, including sales, marketing and the formation of strategic relationships with customers, partners and vendors. He holds 8 U.S. Patents related to the design of advanced microphones and other acoustic devices. He received a B.S.M.E. from Purdue University and an M.S.M.E. with a specialization in Acoustics from The Pennsylvania State University. |

Jeff McAteer, Principal
Jeff is a Co-founder and Principal of MWM Acoustics. He was formerly an Engineering Group Manager at Bell Laboratories. Jeff has expert knowledge in developing and deploying directional microphone technologies into telecommunications and multimedia products, and he holds 13 U.S. patents related to microphone system design. Jeff has significant experience in product realization, as well as in launching new products at OEM factories around the world. His current focus is in the area of new product development, current product engineering, and manufacturing. He holds a B.S.M.E. from Purdue University and an M.S.M.E. from the University of Texas at Austin, where he specialized in Acoustics. |

Alan Michel, Principal
Alan is a Co-founder and Principal of MWM Acoustics. He was formerly a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories, and he has 24 years experience in analog and digital design of telecommunications products to MWM Acoustics. Recent work includes the application of digital signal processing technologies such as speech recognition, speech coding, echo cancellation and acoustic signal processing. Alan also has extensive experience in PC system architectures, networks, and programming. Alan has 12 U.S. Patents, and holds a B.S.E.E from Purdue University and an M.S.E.E. from the University of Michigan. |

Medford Dyer, Director of Engineering - MWM Mobile Products
Prior to coming to MWM Mobile Products, Med spent nine years helping build the company that is the current world leader in mobile headsets. From early in the start-up phase through rapid growth and eventual acquisition, Med's team was responsible for many succesful corded and Bluetooth mobile products. These products were always well-respected for ergonomics, design, sound quality, and value. Med's specific areas of expertise include human factors for wearable products, electrical design for mobile phone compatibility, design for manufacturability, and rapid product development. Med holds eleven US Patents and has a BSEE from Virginia Tech. |

Gary Roberson, Director of Sales
As Director of Sales, Gary brings over 10 years of experience in Sales & Marketing to MWM. Most recently Gary was Sales Manager for Primo Microphones, Inc., and was responsible for expanding and diversifying the market penetration for their acoustic products. Gary also has a strong background in plant management, production scheduling, process and product cost reduction and design implementations for acoustic component products. He is fluent in conversational Japanese. Gary's role with MWM is to bring new product opportunities to the company and expand our customer base. Gary holds a BS in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University. |
